Lexi got her first experience at both a theme park and water park yesterday. We went with Brian's cousins Haley and Chase to Six Flags here in St. Louis. Lexi's first ride was the flume, where you ride in a log boat and go down a big hill at the end, splashing into the water. She absolutely loved it and was smiling the whole time.

We then went to the attached water park, where Lexi splashed in the kiddie pool, and I took her a little ways into the wave pool. Grandma Deb watched Lexi for a few minutes so I could try out one water ride, which was both fun and scary. I realized that I'm getting old, because I actually find myself thinking about the getting hurt aspect way more than the carefree fun aspect.

Finally, we stopped in the gift shop.
Luckily, Lexi is too young to ask for anything, so we just walked around and took pictures with the different animals in there. We lasted until 7:30pm at the park, which is close to her bedtime. However, she didn't even get crabby at that point, so I think she had a blast and enjoyed her first theme park experience.
