Counting

As you can see from the video, Lexi continues to make progress with her speech. We took the kids on a picnic recently, and they were entertained with counting and then running to the tree. Lexi wanted to do her own counting, and we are encouraging all the counting, talking, etc. that she wants to do these days. We just hope the progress keeps rolling!

Chi-town Friends

This weekend Lexi and Conner had some visitors from Chi-town crash their place for the weekend. Zeb & Jasmine made the trek down to hang out with us, spend a day at the zoo with the kids,  and enjoy the spectacular weather (i.e. enjoy a rare August weekend in STL with sub-100 degree temps). They came bearing gifts for both the kids (books) and their dad (Goose Island Green Line, available only on draught & only in Chicago)... but the highlight might have been bringing their dog, Parker, who kept the kids entertained throughout the weekend.
