Jumping Cousins

We visited the Ahlstrand cousins this weekend. We decided to take the kids to a local bounce house, and Conner and Lexi had a blast. Avery and Addy were nice enough to go with Lexi and Conner on all the bouncers and help them if necessary. Gavin mostly hung out with Uncle Dave, while Brian and I chased the two crazies around making certain they weren't getting hurt. They all had a blast, and it was great to get some time in with the cousins on that side.

Kiss Conner?

Lexi and Conner have started their own new bedtime routine add on. They like to kiss each other goodnight and say, "Bye, Bye, Night, Night." Every night, Lexi will ask, "Kiss Conner?". Since they have a lot of sibling rivalry during the day, we love seeing them love each other so much at night!

May Day Tradition

Lexi and Conner got to celebrate May Day for the first time this year, a tradition that Laura participated in as a child. Even though no one here has heard about May Day, we still filled buckets with popcorn, M&M's, and fruit snacks and delivered it to some friends. Lexi and Conner had a blast putting them on the door step and then running away. Since they aren't so fast, most people opened the door before we left. They also didn't know to chase Lexi and Conner, but they didn't know they were supposed to get chased either, so all worked out. Lexi got so into it, that by about the fourth house, she just got out of the van and started running toward a random house! They kept asking, "One more house, mommy?" It was a great first May Day!
