First Steps

Lexi has started taking a couple steps. She's not really walking yet...more trying to fit in as many steps as possible before she wipes out, but she has the ability and interest, which is the most important thing. She has taken up to 8 steps at one time. We think she looks pretty cute doing it.

We also got good news today that after the extensive testing following her blood clot, there are no genetic or other abnormalities with her blood. So, it was just the central line that caused the blood clotting issue and no other underlying issue. With Lexi, it's always good to hear that something is a fluke and not a bigger concern. It was also nice to look in-depth at another part of her body, as at this point, I think we have extensively analyzed every aspect. So, we should be able to stop the Lovenox shots in a couple weeks and put the Hematologist behind us!

Lexi enjoyed some good bonding time with Brian's aunt and uncle. Pam and Dan came down from Minn. for a business meeting and took a couple extra days to hang out with us. Lexi loved them both, but especially Dan and his laugh. Every time Dan got his chuckle going, Lexi would just laugh. She thought he was pretty funny!
