Cereal Monsters

Lexi and Conner both want cereal every morning these days. They love their cereal and preference it over any other breakfast food, so have it 6 out of 7 mornings a week. They especially love Apple Jacks, but also like Kicks, Special K, Cheerios, and Chex. Normally they both have a couple bowls...Lexi wanting more cereal added throughout the process, and Conner needing ever last piece of cereal out of his bowl before he gets more put in. Either way, they both devour almost every morsel every morning!

Happy Halloween

Lexi, our genie, and Conner, our fireman, had a blast at Halloween this year. Both really understand the concept of candy, but we are still working on saying "Trick-or-Treat" and only going to houses where there are lights on. We had some friends over for dinner and then to go around to houses with us. Gavin made it to three houses before Brian took him home because of the cold. The rest of us kept going and made it to about seven or eight more before the other kids were done, but Lexi and Conner wanted more. The three of us ended up doing practically our entire neighborhood! By the end, mom made them quit because she was done, but those two would have kept going.

Fall Party Fun

Lexi and Conner both had fall/Halloween parties at school. Lexi's was a fall party where they did crafts, different games, and had fall-themed snacks. At Conner's party they got to wear their Halloween costumes and trick-or-treat around the lobby to the parents. Brian took off work, so each of us could be with one kid. Both had a blast at their parties and were excited to have parents in their classroom.

Birthday Cupcakes

Lexi and Conner helped make cupcakes for Daddy's birthday. Since Dad doesn't really like cupcakes (they were more for the kid's enjoyment on his birthday), we decided to add crushed up Oreos to the top, so he had one of his favorites at least. The kids loved smashing the Oreos in the bag and then sprinkling them on. Lexi was very meticulous in putting one piece of Oreo on at a time, while Conner took turns between sprinkling the cupcake and shoving his fingers in his mouth to lock off the cookies. Either way, they both had a great time!
