Surprise Party

We threw Brian's parents a surprise party for their 35th wedding anniversary and 60th birthdays, all of which occur this year. We had a lot of family come from out of town (Minnesota, Indiana, Florida), so had a great weekend seeing people. Brian and I had fun showing the kids off, but were grateful when Grandma Phyllis took them home for the night, so we could really enjoy ourselves!

Lexi and Conner got to spend some time with their cousin Lincoln as well, as they stayed at Laura's moms. It was a great weekend with a great celebration!

Grandparent Fun

Laura had to go on a work trip, so Lexi and Conner stayed with Grandma and Grandpa Bunch for 3 days. They got absolutely spoiled. Grandma Bunch had bought Lexi bitty twins for their house, which she loved, and Conner loved climbing into the wagon, as he thought it was the perfect size for him.

They spent the few days going to the park, on walks, and to ChuckECheese. The kids had a blast, and were only mildly mad at mom for ditching them for the week. Grandma Phyllis also pitched in and took Lexi for some one-on-one time. We're grateful for such great grandparents that allow us to go to work trips with minimal angst.
