Lexi has decided that she wants to go poop in the potty. From birth, the doctors warned us that due to her medical conditions, potty training would be delayed. Since most kids are potty trained at 2 1/2-3 1/2, we figured we might start trying toward the later end of that spectrum. However, about a week ago, Lexi crudely grabbed her crotch and said, "poop." Since she has about 10 words, I figured I would reward that and let her sit on the toilet and maybe use a little toilet paper. To my surprise, she did poop. The next time, same thing. She has gotten a lot of praise for pooping in the potty, so she always tells us (sometimes successfully and sometimes not as much). So, we are going to play the game and see how it goes. Despite the wonderful doctors, I think even they seem to underestimate our Lexi!

Potty Potential
