Kansas City Trip

We took a weekend getaway to Kansas City. We did LegoLand, the Aquarium, and had some great meals at both TRex and Fritz's Railroad Restaurant. The kids loved that not only did the food get delivered via a choo-choo train at Fritz's, but we got to call in the order by phone. We had a great time as a family!

Triumph

Gavin pulled to stand for the first time today. He used the baby gate to work himself up and was so proud of himself. I was too, so I quickly got out the camera to capture the moment. Two seconds later, he fell head first into the post and ended up with a black eye, making me feel like the worst parent every for being so focused on the photo and not even thinking about his safety. He's a tough little one and probably will have plenty more bumps and scrapes as he starts getting more mobile. He was really proud of himself!
