Hide and Go Seek
Brian was in Cincinnati and Indianapolis this weekend for some guys time with baseball games and the Indy 500. So, Grandma Phyllis and her best friend Shirley came down. We went to the Lone Elk Park, the park, and lots of fun things. The favorite part of the weekend, though, was hiding under the desk with Shirley and yelling "boo" at everyone. It's always the simple things that entertain them the most!

Schools out for Summer
Lexi's last day of preschool was today. She has had a fabulous year and made such progress. We love her school more than anything! She went from no words, not being able to hold a crayon, and trying to get her balance a year ago. Today, we can proudly report that she has around 15 words, is starting to make an L with her pencil, and can now jump, run, and all around be crazy. She has worked so hard, and these teachers and aids have done such a fabulous job supporting her development and education. Next year, she will follow Mrs. Natalie into a pre-Kindergarten classroom with more kids that simulates more of a Kindergarten atmosphere, since she will be headed there the following year. We're happy to keep this amazing teacher on Lexi's side for one more year and are so proud of the progress our little princess has made! She is such a little fighter.

Harley Man
After our last blog posting portrayed a less-than-tough image for our household's resident Con-man, we thought it was only fair to exhibit some journalistic integrity and show both sides of our complex little man. He may shed a few tears and want his boo-boo's kissed from time to time, but far more often, you'll find him running around our house like a one-man wrecking ball or cruising the grounds on his Harley!
