Lexi and Conner still seem to be in love with their brother. They haven't asked us to return him yet and both are still very interested in holding and kissing him. So far, they have been very gentle with him. For the most part, they have adjusted well. We have had a few fits from Conner, but this could be a typical two-year-old as well and have nothing to do with a new baby. All in all, we have adjusted well with bringing Gavin home.
We went in for Gavin's one week check up and Conner's 2 year check up. Both boys checked out great, and the doctor was very happy with both their development and growth. Conner weighed 30 lbs and measured 35 inches. Our pediatrician guessed he would top off at 6'1" or 6'2" for maximum height. Gavin weighed in at 10 lbs 6 oz, so is right on par for normal weight gain after birth (about an ounce a day). She didn't make any predictions on his height, but with his strength and resemblance of his brother, we figure he will do alright on the height scale as well. Right now, we are just happy that we have two healthy, growing boys.
