At 3 years old, Lexi got her first hair cut. Since Lexi didn't have hair until late in her life and we never know how she's going to behave, we were a little nervous about how the haircut would go. Plus, with her crazy hair, we weren't sure if they would butcher the curls. We started a little rough with a few tears...but those came from mom, not Lexi. Lexi did fabulous! 
Once again, Lexi proved mom wrong. She proudly picked out bubble gum shampoo for her hair and then with a little coaxing layed down to get her hair washed. She was even patient enough to let the lady blow dry her hair and style it with cute clips. She was entertained with the car, books, Mickey Mouse, and even some flash cards I had brought along. They did a great job!
When we got home, Lexi proudly showed off her new hair to her dad. Mom was excited to get some tips that might tame these luscious curls a little more and to get through the first haircut experience with a positive outcome!
