Laura came down Valentine's morning to roses that Brian had left in the kitchen on the counter. He had also taken sticker hearts that we were using for a craft and put them around the roses to be a little more romantic. This was totally lost on the kids, as Conner responded, "Oohhhh, Daddy put stickers on the counter. That's a no-no."
Laura then spent the afternoon at Lexi's school at her Valentine's Day party. She was in charge of the craft, which was a little bit of a disaster, but turned out okay in the end. Lexi was just excited to have mom there and all to herself.
We finished the night with some presents. Lexi got new Bob books, which she was super excited about. Gavin got a coloring book, and Conner got a nightime light book.
