Lost Tooth
Conner lost his first tooth one week before kindergarten starts. He has been wiggling that tooth for the last week. He played baseball with dad tonight, and took a ball in the face. Although it didn't come out then, we think it gave it the last nudge, as about a half hour later when he was putting on his pajamas, he came down with a little blood saying he had lost and swallowed his tooth. He then had a light bulb go off and ran back upstairs. He reappeared with the tooth saying he couldn't believe how small it was. He had dismissed it as something else. He promptly put it under his pillow for the tooth fairy visit. He looks adorable with his toothless grin.
Dad Time
While mom has been down and unable to go out of the house, Dad has been enjoying being the hero and having lots of special time with the kids on the weekend. On Saturday, they went to Six Flags for 7 hours, did more rides that ever, and got their first ice cream cones at the park (for which they ask every time). Dad and the kids had a blast, but were all exhausted at the end of the day as well.

Decorating Walker
The kids thought it would be fun to decorate Mom's Walker. So, they spent some time cutting ribbons, tying them on, and letting mom curl them. They had a blast doing sequencing and learning how to measure out the right length. I didn't know that that activity could provide so much education and make my Walker look just a little less pathetic!
