Cousin Christmas

The kids had a great time playing with their cousins this Christmas. We had a nice Christmas celebration, and the kids did fun combinations with the photo booth. Lexi and Conner also liked it when the older cousins wanted to put make-up on them and give them parts in the musical. Always fun to hang out with the cousins.

Christmas 2013

Christmas was the best yet this year. The kids woke up and were so excited to see that Santa had come and left presents in both their stockings and under the tree. Conner got his bulldozer, skid loader, and digger and Lexi got her American Girl doll. Gavin got some superhero cars. The excitement in the room was amazing with the kids so enthralled with their gifts. Gavin even got into it by ripping into Conner's Santa gift before we were even done passing out gifts. Conner's favorite gifts besides those from Santa were his chap stick and flashlight...go figure!

In the afternoon we spent time with Brian's parents and the whole Ahlstrand/Thorne cousins. A great Christmas for the records!

Church and Cookies

Christmas Eve consisted of church and cookies for Santa. Some of the family was sick, so we didn't have our normal get-to-gether. Instead, we went to church (or at least Laura and Conner did). Lexi slept through the service, and Gavin ran around the gathering area with Brian trailing him. So goes Christmas Eve services these days.  After a quick bite to eat, we headed back to Grandma's to make cookies for Santa and go to bed. Conner kept saying he heard the reindeer hoofs on the roof...wishful thinking!
