Ahlstrand Cousins

The Ahlstrand cousins came to visit for a night. We went to the Magic House and got to spend extra time with Beck and Addy while Avery played soccer. The kids had fun with their cousins, and were really sad to see them go after such a short time.

Halloween

We had a great Halloween this year, despite the rain. We started with a party and halloween trick-or-treating at Conner and Gavin's school. Then, Lexi had a party at her school in the afternoon with games, trick-or-treating, and a party. Even dad was able to make it to the party! We then trick-or-treated in our neighborhood, which was a blast. We started at our neighbors, who have been each of our kid's first trick-or-treat experience. Then, Conner and Lexi wanted to do the whole neighborhood, so we made it to every house. Conner finally learned the rules, and would turn and go, "They have their lights on!" We would go to that house, he would turn around and say, "They have their lights on!" and so on with just as much surprise at every house with a light on! The highlight had to be hearing Lexi say so clearly, "Trick-or-treat". Best Halloween ever! We ended the night with letting the kids hand out treats to trick-or-treaters. Conner loved it and stood at the window waiting for more to come. It was so fun to see Lexi and Conner's excitement this year.
