First Friends

Lexi's first reported friend she made at school was a little girl named Brooke. Lexi can say her name, and she talks about her a lot. We recently went to a birthday party where the two enjoyed swinging together. So fun to see Lexi starting to interact with kids.

Bumbo-Mania

We always encourage our kids to be young at heart, but Lexi & Conner might be receiving that message a little too clearly these days. Despite no shortage of age-appropriate toys in sight, one of their favorite activities in recent days has been playing with (or should we say in) Gavin's Bumbo seat. Not exactly a game of chess, but at least they're playing together these days!

Special Valentine Date

My valentine date this year was my little man. They had a program at preschool where the kids sang and then we had lunch together. Conner loved the one-on-one time the most, I think. 

Last Date

Conner had his last date with his girlfriend Jane. Our good friends moved away this week, so they came over for one last play date. Conner and Jane made valentine cookies and put heart clings on the windows. When they went to leave, I cried a little, and the rest of the day Conner kept saying, "I sad. Jane go bye-bye." That was enough to break my heart!
